Marvel One-A-Day - Day 90: Green Goblin
Norman Osborne, aka the Green Goblin, Spider-Man's nemesis. Out of town starting tomorrow for the weekend. I'll be going to the World Series. Hopefully we can get this thing turned around!
Real Rangers Fan? Here's a Quiz
I am probably the Rangers best pitcher, not named Nolan or Cliff. I carried two teams to the World Series, the Marlins and the Padres, but never the Rangers. Who am I?
I am known for throwing the knuckleball and smoking in the dugout between innings. Who am I?
The Rangers were once caught in the midst of a riot by fans on "Nickel Beer Night" when visiting what Major League city?
I was the victim of Nolan Ryan's five-thousandth strikeout. Then when I was setting a Major League record of my own, Nolan Ryan threw a no-hitter on the exact same night. I never played for the Rangers myself. Who am I?
I was the Manager who took the Rangers to their first ever playoff appearance. Who am I?

Marvel One-A-Day - Day 86: Two Gun Kid
Marvel's first Western character, created way back in 1948, was the Two Gun Kid. Recently they brought him back through time travel to be a super hero.

Marvel One-A-Day - Day 84: Phantom Rider
The Rangers won the pennant! And you notice in this image of the Phantom Rider, not only is he waving the Texas state flag , but he is giving "the claw", which is the recognition the Rangers players give each other for a big hit!

Marvel One-A-Day - Day 79: Longshot
In celebration of my beloved Texas Rangers winning their playoff series tonight, I present Longshot! The Rangers have been a "longshot" their whole franchise history, and they remain a longshot to beat the Yankees, but with perhaps a little bit of this mutant's famous luck they can move on to the World Series!

Marvel One-A-Day - Day 78: Trance, Loa, and Dust
These three are among the newest and youngest X-Men. I think its a general attempt to keep the X-Men angsty and relevant, that they add new teen members all the time. Nothing new. Remember Leech and Artie Maddicks? Kitty Pryde? Jubilee? The New Mutants?
On the left we have Dust, she is a Muslim wearing the traditional Burqa. She turns into, well, Dust.
In the center, on the couch, is Trance. She goes into a trance and can project a ghost, or astral projection.
And on the right is Loa. She is a new version of Kitty Pryde, except I think she shreds the crap out of whatever she goes through. She is hell on Sentinels.

Marvel One-A-Day - Day 77: Iceman and Firestar
This kicks off X-Men week. My favorite merry Marvel mutants. And since the X-Men are a team, I am going to make an effort to do several team-ups of more than one character to challenge myself.
When I was a kid, I already loved comics, but the thing that got me into Marvel, was the Saturday morning cartoon, Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends. The "Amazing Friends" were the X-Men: Iceman and Firestar. I definitely liked Spidey, but this series totally got me hooked on X-Men comics. I've been a sucker for them ever since.

Marvel One-A-Day - Day 71: Namor
Sorry Iron Man Week didn't get too far. It's hard to post these when I take trips home, because my folks aren't really wired in at home. No scanner, no computer even. Certainly no internet.
Is it coincidence that I was watching Chuck while drawing him, and he came out looking like Adam Baldwin? I certainly didn't mean for it to happen, but you know what now I can't imagine a better actor to play him in a movie! What do you guys think?
